Ok. Let's agree with the science. My issue is what do we do about it? I work in the area of climate communications. We've been using facts and reasons trying to persuade people that climate change is real for over 30 years and it's not working. We use fear to try and scare people into acting. While it attracts attention, it also results in apathy, fatigue and disengagement. We need to know the truth of what is happening so we can direct our actions, but I would ask anyone publishing in this area to also include a roadmap of actions so people don't feel helpless. How can I stop the ocean currents from collapsing? I can't. We need collective government action on a massive scale. I can also act myself, like putting in a heat pump system or driving less. I can work on a community level to get my city more energy efficient and electrified. More of this please too. Thanks for what you do.
